Banking Made Simple
At alt.bank, a digital bank with the credit card Novücard, the team identified recurring issues with the app’s home screen usability. Feedback from the Customer Experience (CX) department, along with our own observations and input from users, highlighted challenges in navigation and understanding the interface. These difficulties were creating friction in the user experience and impacting overall satisfaction with the app.
To address these concerns, the team conducted usability tests on the home screen to pinpoint the specific issues causing confusion. Leading this project, I collaborated closely with the team to analyze the test results and propose actionable solutions. The redesign focused on simplifying the interface, resolving usability errors, and making navigation more intuitive and seamless.
The updated home screen was designed to be cleaner and easier to understand, ensuring users could interact with the app effortlessly. This project not only improved the user experience but also reinforced the importance of user-centered design in building digital banking solutions that truly serve their audience.
